Tiyende Women's Collective: Empowering Change, Transforming Lives
Vivre Co Australia’s journey began in July 2018 as a beauty-based business with a mission to empower young girls from impoverished communities by funding their education. Our belief that everyone deserves access to quality education and equal opportunities has driven us to sponsor over 70 scholarships for girls living in poverty in Malawi, Africa through our Girls Scholarship Program. Thus creating a meaningful impact aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals—specifically Goal 1: No Poverty, Goal 4: Quality Education, and Goal 5: Gender Equality.
Our work sparked a powerful collaboration with Emmanuel Mzembe, Founder of the Bikema Academic Centre, a social enterprise dedicated to education and empowerment and we achieved a great impact through our Girls Scholarship Program. While the pandemic paused Vivre Co’s operations in 2020, it also fueled the creation of Vivre Wellness, a new direction that highlights the importance of mental health and holistic well-being as key components of personal development.
Now, we are proud to reignite the spirit of Vivre Co through our partnership with Emmanuel Mzembe and Africa Innovate, launching the Tiyende Women’s Collective. This initiative is designed to empower women living in poverty in Malawi through microloans, mentorship, and a 6-month incubator program that provides the training and resources necessary to launch or grow their businesses.
Join us on this journey of empowerment. Together, we can go further. Tiyende!
